I have the downloadable CD of Dragonfly along with the sheet music. It is a beautiful album, each song is unique and my husband commented on the CD that he too enjoyed listening to your CD (probably more so when I don’t ruin it and try and play along with one of my instruments.) lol I really like the way the band harmonizes with the different instruments and voices. Thank you Gothard sisters for sharing your remarkable music.

Dragon fly is the best album I have listened to this year. With great lyrics and sweet melody it is a mood shifter. My favorite song on this is Nightfall, with its smooth transitions and relaxing melody is a sensation to behold. This mix of songs shows the hard work and personality of each of these beautiful young women. I would highly suggest this album to anyone who enjoys Celtic, folk, or even bluegrass music. This album is the one shining light in a sea of darkness. Thank you girls for the time and hard work to make this Masterpiece.

I was intrigued this album. I love good Celtic music, and I love folk, modern Celtic like Solas and the Corrs, and bluegrass. So, the first thing I want to say is when I started listening, I kept wanting to hear the next tune. Before I knew it, I had listened to the whole album. It is very pleasurable listening and each song leads you to want to hear more. I've turned into a fan!

DRAGONFLY is quite an enjoyable album, and is one more in a series of powerfully exciting productions. There are no thunderous drums or heavy-metal guitar riffs here~ just light, whimsical, and very pleasant tunes, or more accurately, "stories". With this album it is easy to discern each of the performers individual expertise with their instruments, and with their voices, and also their songwriting abilities. The musical talent of The Gothard Sisters continues to grow with each new album, and the familiarity of the lilting songs they offer is something I always look forward to. Cheers to the colorful magic of THE GOTHARD SISTERS!

Another wonderful musical experience. The Gothard Sisters continue to add depth and complexity to their compositions. The album’s lyrics are often deeply thought provoking. In particular the poetry of Nightfall elicits such vivid imagery. The instrumentals present a progression of thicker textures. The Golden Thread is very powerful and evocative. The digital download of this album in addition to the Sister’s previous works allows a listener to readily create one’s own GS playlist around a mood or theme such as: nature; water; mystical; dance(jig/waltz), etc. This Dragonfly album has something everyone can enjoy!

I Love the way the Gothard Sisters compose in such a way as to take the listener on an emotional filled adventure, taking them through a world of melody created through a masterfully chosen pallet of notes and measures! -cannot wait to hear the rest-
