Every album the Gothard Sisters is pure gold! This is no exception. What I really appreciate is that it is full of Christmas songs, (not to be confused with winter songs usually played at malls that don't capture or even mention the true meaning of Christmas.) The song selection is perfect, as is the order of songs, each one carrying the mood/feeling wonderfully into the next.
This album captures both the joy and the holiness of the true meaning of Christmas, the miraculous birth of Jesus. I know that this album will be a blessing and bring joy to everyone who listens to it.

Truly lovey new album! Then again all of the Gothard Sister's music is beautiful! Me and my kiddos listened to it over and over the first day of listening to the full album and look forward to listening lots more during the winter season. I think our favorite so far is Here We come A Caroling. It's very hard to pick a favorite though. They are all beautiful!

Another wonderful album from the Gothard Sisters! We are really enjoying the combination of upbeat songs with more peaceful ones. I like the unique Middle Eastern part of Deck the Halls - really nice touch! The sound Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel almost puts you back into that ancient time period - so neat! We have been playing this CD a lot. Sometimes we just put it on repeat and let the music soak in. This is our new favorite Christmas album, and like other Gothard Sisters albums never seems to get old. We will have to get another copy for the car. So yes, we are very happy with the Gothard Sisters Christmas album!

This CD is up to the usual high standards of the Gothard Sisters. Each piece was cleverly composed and beautifully performed. I especially thought the arrangement of Deck the Halls was creative. It actually was sort of a medley of several Christmas Carols such as Ding Dong Merrily On High and I believe Pat-a-Pan entertwined with Deck the Halls. The CD came attractively tied in a Christmas bow and had a beautiful cover. Well Done!

It’s not easy to make a really good Christmas album that gives the Christmas feeling but doesn’t blend in with everything else already out there. The Gothard Sisters did it again! It never ceases to amaze us that each album they release is better than the last. Well done you three!

This latest Christmas album from the Gothard Sisters stands out for its lean, spare musical treatments. The tunes have an Bluegrass feel - heavy on the mandolin and guitar. The music's unadorned quality that shows how very comfortable they've become as musicians. Two standouts on this wonderful album are "The Wexford Carol" - which starts hauntingly slowly and builds steam as it goes - and "Deck the Halls" - infused with Middle-Eastern flair. But they don't stray too far from their Celtic roots; their album-ending "Christmas Eve Reel" will surely set your feet to tapping. An absolute gem of an album.
